A life without love in it is like a heap of cold ashes in a hearth, the fire dead, all warmth and laughter gone, and no more light.

Gosh! I didn't know that.... Thanks
Pretty Please...
Have a great day!
Tired

This is going to be a really
full and eventful weekend. To kick it off, Kenny and I attended the wedding reception of Mark and Monica
. They actually just had a "reaffirmation of vows' as they were already married by a judge a year or so ago. It seemed not so long ago when Mark took Monica to our wedding (they just started dating then) in late October of 2002. Soon after, Monica got pregnant and the adorable Molly was born. Anyway, we arrived at the Chateau Del Mar a bit late due to the crazy Friday night drive
and endless construction sites
. Pretty much everybody in the
family were there and to my surprise, they gamely posed for pictures and even brought their own cameras
and snapped away as well.
As I've written (or typed
) before, Kenny's family events are markedly different compared to typical Filipino gatherings. At our parties, almost everybody have their own cameras and flashbulbs
go off constantly from all directions. When someone is about to take a picture, everyone rush from everywhere vying for the best spot in the photo op
. It's almost like a piranha fest
the way we enthuse about having our picture taken, especially in groups . I think Kenny found it odd at first but has become quite adept at taking his place wherever the lenses are focused. So, it was rather refreshing to be able to take pictures of and with Kenny's family this time around. Here are some of the photos and the rest are in the gallery
.

Monica was truly a vision in her princess wedding gown and was the epitome of a glowing and happy bride
. Mark was equally dashing as well in his formal tux wear
. And not far behind was Molly who looked like a mini-bride in her pretty white dress. Too bad I wasn't able to take a good picture of her
. I guess she was becoming restless and would not pose for the camera. Well, I can't win them all
.
